Happy New Year to you. We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and an enjoyable break, ready for a successful and prosperous 2014.
The Dymond Engineering factory is now back to full steam following the factory shut down over Christmas, during which we witnessed the awesome power of the waves as they battered the North Devon coastline.
So now we’re back what does 2014 hold in store for sheet metal fabrication and engineering? Indications at the end of last year from the EEF, MAS and Bank of England were far more positive than they have been for some time, though with a cautionary note about the sustainability of consumer spending rather than serious economic growth. The signs we are seeing so far are very positive and with an encouraging number of metal work enquiries already this year, so without the crystal ball we all need we are hopeful 2014 will be a year of sustainable growth in the demand for bespoke metal fabrication, nationally and here in the South West.
But what do you think? We’d love to know. What signs are you seeing? What does your information tell you? Use the Contact box on the right and let us know how it looks to you.
