We have some great recruitment news for Spring 2021!
Dymond Engineering has been hiring new starters over the last few months!
We were very pleased when Matthew joined us in April. Matthew has been working in metal manufacturing and other varied manufacturing processes for years. Just prior to joining us he was designing quality furniture for both residential and commercial uses. Matthew is very creative and enjoys spending time producing physical and digital works of art. He’s also a video-gamer and plays social sports with his mates.
And he loves the great outdoors too! When he was only 16 he was part of a small crew who sailed a Tall Ships to the Channel Islands from Great Yarmouth. This was just after he became the under 16 National Air Rifle Champion and under 16 National Archery Champion.
Matthew says living in Devon has made him appreciate the beauty on your doorstep, and we agree with him wholeheartedly.
He says he was drawn to Dymond for its great local reputation and manufacturing capacities.
And there is more good recruitment news for Spring 2021! We were lucky enough to recruit Richard. Richard has always worked miracles with metal; his hobby is collecting and restoring classic cars and motorcycles. He even has a tractor. For the last 10 years Richard has become a skilled MIG & TIG welder but was drawn to Dymond to increase his skill and experience with metal fabrication. Richard really appreciates the pace of life in Devon.
Richard is proudly passing on his many talents to his young son, he has taught him not just to ride a motorbike and quad bike but also to service them!
In his spare time, if he has any, he likes to play guitar and listen to blues and classic rock, especially Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac – Richard is a purist.
We would like to give a huge welcome into the Dymond Family to Matthew and Richard. We are looking forward to working with them for many years to come!
