You may remember that during the pandemic we were commissioned by para-athlete Jack Eyers to engineer and manufacture a high-quality home gym frame for him. He designed it to fill the gap between the cheap imported racks that quickly flooded the market, and the very expensive branded racks. Jack wanted a rack that was as good as the elite racks but was priced mid-range as a more affordable high-quality option.
Jack was delighted with the result so we then worked in partnership to sell the rack more widely. We also won the ‘Made in Devon’ award at the ‘Business Action’ awards 2021 which was a fabulous endorsement.
Fast forward to now and we are thrilled to share the news that Jack has qualified for the Paris Paralympics in September! His sport is the Men’s LV3 Para 200M Sprint Canoe, for which Team GB only get to send one contender, which is Jack.
We are so excited that a contingent of us are heading out to support and cheer him on!
